What is your artistic view?

I like have fun and bring out the closeness, connection, and feelings of families, to catch sincere moments, and to create pictures with mood and atmosphere. Photography sessions are designed with you in mind. The goal is for you to reimmerse yourself in those moments even after some time has passed. Through photography, you can experience moments of happiness, and new way of seeing yourself and your loved ones as time passes.

I’m happiest with my work when I create a picture that embraces a story, captures a happy moment, and has a compositional interest.  

What is an Art-Inspired Portraiture?

Each portrait is custom-created, and each image is individually retouched and have a fine art feel due to lighing and image process used to create a fine art look. They are intended to be printed on fine art paper or canvas and are the focus in your home.

What is a Signature Portraits session?
Each portrait session is created with you and your family in mind.  Each image is retouched individually and is created to be printed on fine art paper or canvas. 

Do I need modeling experience?

No, you will be guided into all poses, head to toe, looking relaxed and natural.

Do I need to buy clothes for the session?

Maybe, to get the best result.  I want you to feel special. This is a special experience that takes planning and will discuss the theme, style, colors, and all the details for the photo shoot.  You may already have what you need in your closet or I can help you build on what you already have.  I have a selection of accessories and props that can be used in conjunction with your base clothing. 

How do you create this style of painterly-looking photos?

These images are created with a combination of lighting, styling, color, and editing.

What can I expect at the shoot?

-Fully guided poses that are connected, relaxed, and natural looking and a fun time!

-Outfit changes
-Access to studio clothing and props

We are on vacation will you come to us?
Most definitely, this is a great opportunity to have family portraits taken at your favorite vacation location here in Maine!  Shipping is available.

What happens after the shoot?

-I'll choose a few images and Hand-retouch them, creating a completely custom-looking image. The number of images you will see will depend on the type of session you have, on average, you will have 20/30 images to view for every hour of photography time.

-Images are all corrected for color, skin retouching, and image toning.

-A Personalized Ordering Session happens within 12-15 days in person or online.

-Wall Layout Help and design offered.

-Delivery of prints within 15-30 days unless additional retouching is needed.

What products do you offer?

-Best in the business. I feel this is the most important part to decide before your session, how you will display your images. I offer exquisite top of the line Folio Boxes, Albums, Canvas Prints, Framed Prints, and more.

What type of retouching do you offer?

• Stylized Retouching consists of removing stray hair, blemishes, ramped up color, maximum enhancement removal of fine lines, wrinkles, crow lines, under eye bags, eye enhancement, eyebrow, lash, and lip enhancement.  Your skin will be softened and lighten and eyes and appear sharper and whiter, lips and will be enhanced a bit, and teeth will be whitened, wrinkles will be reduced, hair will be enhanced, and a bit of eye makeup will be applied.  For headshots or 3/4 length images. An additional fee per images will be changed depending on the number of hours.

• Light Retouching is included with each pose ordered. Light Retouching consists of color correction and white balance is applied, removal of minor facial blemishes if visible.

• Natural Retouching is included with all images that you are purchasing on close-up headshots. This includes some stray hair, blemishes, softening of fine lines, and brightened eyes. Your skin will be softened a bit and your eyes will appear a bit sharper and a bit whiter.
  Minor skin softening will be applied at the requested level: 15-20% slight, 25-30% medium, 35% high

• Moles will be softened and removed only if requested.

Do you photograph people in the nude?

No, I do not, but I do practical nude and implied nude images.
